Early years. Born in 1971, inspired by his parents passion for German Shepherds, quickly learned about breeding programmes and bloodlines through his parents and their world famous "vom Hühnegrab" kennel. Gained a deep understanding that breeding is a meticulous process with the goal of producing top quality dogs.

Achievements - He has owned or bred many dogs that have ranked in the top 20 of the BSZS with 10 finishing in the VA group.

2023 - Appointed as Körmeister and as an Assessor for the Wesensbeuerteiler.

Kennel - Hundenkraft
I grew up surrounded by GSD's by the age of 14 i had competed up to Class A in competetive obedience with my first German Shepherd bitch, Kye. I have since trained more than 10 dogs to IGP3, seven of which have competed at National level. In 2014 i qualified to represent Team GB at the WUSV World Championship.
I have been involved with the development of both show and working GSD since 2011 and have carried out the courage tests in the majority of the British Sieger events. I am a licenseced tracklayer and have carried out helper work under numerous SV and FCI judges in over 40 IGP trials including many world qualifiers. I was the youngest helper to license in the UK in the sport and have been an A grade helper for over 20 years. I have also passed the Breed Council Education Program, towards judging and stewarding the breed and have been a BAGSD instructor since 2008 at the age of 15.
I believe our biggest success can be seen in our working line German Shepherds from our affix Hundenkraft., not only do we have open show winners and Crufts competitors in obedience, we also supply (for many years now) to the HMP and police forces throughout the country. Our females are in police breeding programmes and our studs are often used, whilst also supplying sports dogs to serious IGP and working trials competitors.
You can often see our home bred dogs in various police documentaries, at national police and prison trials and on the BBC news. We currently have almost 60 dogs in active service. Throughout our breeding we have continued to produce what we believe is the all round working dog, with drive but level headed, strong and true to type, healthy, tested and fit for purpose.

I first qualified for my A-Grade license in 2012. Since then i have participated as a helper in numerous club trials and the following events.

Breed Specific Qualifiers (FMBB & IFR) x 5.
For fourteen years I have been one of the GSDL helper trainers supporting the development of new and existing helpers.
Over this same period I have helped out at many IGP clubs throughout the country assisting owners to pass various working qualifications.

We are planning to help exhibitors with practice sessions with our chosen British Sieger helpers.

The British Sieger is organised and run by the British Sieger Working Party, a collaboration between WUSV clubs BAGSD and GSDL, together with the GSD Breed Council and GSDL-BRG, and is recognised by the Royal Kennel Club.
